Virgin Mobile launches innovative 'contract' deal

Virgin Mobile, which was previously only available as a 'pay as you go' service, has launched 12-month contracts that promise reduced charges when the 12-month minimum term ends. It seems the idea is to prevent customers from immediately looking for another deal... so it'll be interesting to see the company's customer retention figures in mid-2006.
