Is it just me, or does "Vodafone keeps it simple for the Irish" risk offending an entire nation?  The headline, which describes the launch of Vodafone Simply in Ireland, appears on an American research company's web site.

Advertising watchdog criticises

The UK's advertising watchdog, the ASA, has upheld a complaint against a company called Better Safe Homes. The company sells shielding that claims to protect houses against mobile phone transmissions but made a number of unsubstantiated statements.

Motorola iTunes mobile arrives at last

The Motorola iTunes mobile phone - or Motorola ROKR E1 as it'll be known - was launched today. The Carphone Warehouse is taking pre-orders for the phone connected to the O2 network in the UK. There's more information about the launch on the BBC web site.
