Talking handsfree more dangerous than drink-driving?
A new survey from the USA has shown that talking on a mobile phone when driving - even if you're using a handsfree kit - can be more dangerous than being over the legal alcohol limit. The study used a driving simulator to test 40 people, three of whom 'crashed' while talking on their phones.

A light-hearted comment from T-Mobile about its high charges for using data services abroad has been reported by Mobile Business magazine. The network says it will be reducing its charges later in the year.

Dial-a-phone, the mobile phone retailer often seen advertising in national newspapers, has closed its outbound 'sales' call centre. An increasing number of UK networks are imposing tight regulations on third-party call centres or are refusing to work with them at all.

Brits use their mobiles to search for food and drink
Mobile search company m-spatial has released the results of a survey to find the top brands searched for in the local area using mobile phones. Top of the brand list are Tesco, Pizza Hut and McDonalds, while fast food, takeaways and drinking are at the top of the ' category' list.
