New Microsoft software to take on BlackBerry?

It's been reported that the new version of Windows Mobile software for PDAs and smartphones will 'push' email messages to recipients, putting it in competition with BlackBerry devices. Meanwhile, Microsoft say that mobile email on its own isn't important - it's mobile applications that matter.
